Among which, local community has played an important role to meet the residents’ needs since it is closely related to their daily life. The research adopts social impact model which focuses on recognizing and dealing with social nucleus problems, and discusses the operating strategies and results based on case studies. Established in 1992, United Way of Taiwan (UWT) has been playing the role of financial intermediary over the years and built bridges between the givers and the receivers, making good use of its platform. The research finds UWT applies charity fundraising strategies such as forming groups, multiple fundraising, and social management.
