;Our research group, though small in size, is well-known internationally and hence will serve as a bridge between the local scientific community and researchers in foreign institutions in the fast-moving field of solar system exploration, putting Taiwan on the map, so to speak. Furthermore, with the heightened attention in space science and technology by the general public, the dissemination of our research results by way of scientific publications and/or public lectures will stimulate the young generation's interest towards seeking STEM education at all levels ranging from K-12 to graduate schools.
