;This study examines spatial heat risk and visitor thermal comfort in Ayutthaya Island, Thailand, as a living heritage city. Using the Hazard–Exposure–Vulnerability framework, it integrates climate, remote sensing, socio-economic, and visitor survey data to assess heat risk across five subdistricts. The findings show uneven heat risk patterns, with Ho Rattana Chai having the highest composite risk, while Pratu Chai shows high exposure but moderate overall risk. The mismatch between composite heat risk and visitor thermal discomfort highlights the importance of Visitor Comfort Perception as a human-centered vulnerability indicator. The study proposes heritage- sensitive adaptation measures, including shade, drinking water points, cooling routes, green- blue infrastructure, and heat-risk communication.
