本研究的目的是希望以台灣的經濟為研究標的，並針對產業聚集這個重要的議題，從基本的產業聚集程度的衡量與觀察開始，再進一步探討產業聚集的對台灣經濟活動的影響。期望藉由這些基本的研究，除了能夠讓我們了解台灣的產業聚集情形，並提供政府制定產業政策之參考之外，更能夠為台灣的產業聚集研究建立基礎，為未來更深層的研究做出貢獻。 In this thesis we use the census data from Taiwan's manufacturing sector to explore some topics about industry agglomeration. By the basic research, we can understand Taiwan's industry agglomeration and offer some suggestion to economic policy maker.
