The elastodynamic energy release rate for rubbery material problems with a stationary crack under dynamic loads in the context of large deformation is calculated by the modified domain integral method with finite element solutions. General 2-D problems, including plane stress, plane strain, and axisymmetric cases, are considered in the formulation. The modified DIM is verified to be patch-independent. Although this property does not eliminate the need to include the singular near-tip area in the calculation, it is observed in the numerical results that acceptable solutions of ERR are calculated even though an accurate near-tip model is not ensured.
