Abstract:	本計劃在於研究行進波與具有 source terms 的非線性嚴格雙曲線型偏微分方程式之間的關係.在沒有 source terms 的例子中,用vanishing viscosity method 中行進波的性質來探討 shock profile 的問題已經被廣泛的研究.但是在具有 source terms 的問題(尤其是非守恆系統)則有很大的研究空間.行進波的存在性,穩定性和它們的 profiles 的一些性質將是本計劃研討的重點.此計劃的研究成果將可運用在 compressible Euler equations, shallow water equations 和 Bose-Einstein condensate 中的方程式。研究期間：9308 ~ 9407
