In the age of information overflow, where the interpersonal relationships are tangled, we have to understand each other and differentiate between true and false in an instant. While misreading or misunderstanding may happen anywhere or any time, it is still possible to understand the reasons and origins for misreading, if we can stop "frame by frame" to carefully analyze the fundamental of misreading from their comprehension background and recognition process. I chose the text of Paul de Man’s “The Rhetoric of Blindness: Jacques Derrida’s Reading of Rousseau” to be the starting point. Through the reading of Jacques Derrida’s Of Grammatology and Jean-Jacques Rousseau’s Essay on the origin of languages: which treats of melody and musical imitation, I try to trace how misreading was happened, from the basic reading-relationship of text-writer-reader-object. No matter how to reveal the truth: by deliberately misreading or by excluding misreading points, misreading is a necessary process when people try to grasp truth. We have to return to the originals so that we can make things clear, and from this process, we can infinitely expand our comprehension dimension.
