    Abstract:  劉蕺山言:「象山不差,差于慈湖,陽明不差,差於龍溪」 。以蕺山的看法而言,陽明自能承襲先秦儒家,而龍溪已流而為禪,不善紹述陽明思想。於此,吾人必須先對龍溪思想作一番了解,龍溪談的三教會通,是否打亂了儒佛之彊界,及其四無說是否為龍溪杜撰 ,是否有佛老成份,而虛玄而蕩。另一個可能,在蕺山看法之外,是龍溪可繼承陽明。如此又可分為二:一是陽明為儒,故龍溪繼承而為儒家,二是陽明為禪,龍溪繼承而為禪學。就第二點而言,近人侯外廬主編的《宋明理學史》 就認為王龍溪入禪,錯不在龍溪,因為在陽明就已經有其根據了。對此須對龍溪及陽明思想作一定位。
