Abstract:	Motzkin 在 1949 年時提出一個判別整環(integral domain)是否為歐幾里德整環(Euclidean domain)的方法。後來， Samuel 在 1971 年提出歐幾里德環(Euclidean ring)的定義並仿照 Motzkin 的方法提出一個判別交換環是否為歐幾里德環的方法。最近，我們證明了 restricted Nagata』s pairwise 算則若從 Motzkin 及 Samuel 的角度來看，它其實是比歐幾里德算則更原始的算則且兩者之間有很密切的關係。在這次的計畫裡，我們將從 Motzkin 及 Samuel 的角度來研究 k-stage Euclidean 算則。我們希望知道歐幾里德算則、restricted Nagata』s pairwise 算則及 k-stage Euclidean 算則這三種算則間的內在依存關係。研究期間：9608 ~ 9711
