Abstract:	摘要本研究主要利用Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission （TRMM）衛星上Lightning Imaging Sensor (LIS)的閃電資料，進行全球及區域閃電定性上的分析，以及定量上的探討。並且配合其它的相關資料（如SSMI降雨資料、衛星、雷達資料與NCEP氣象場資料等），進行初步的分析與討論。首先分析LIS閃電資料在1998年至2002年（5年）全球及區域閃電的數量及分佈情況。分析結果顯示全球閃電分佈有明顯季節性變化，因此本研究選擇9個南北半球不同區域做每月閃電數量分佈的探討，可以發現不同區域中因為地理位置的關係，使得閃電分佈有明顯季節性變化，甚至在季節轉變前後也有明顯的差異，除此之外並配合SSM/I降雨資料初步探討閃電分佈與降雨之間的關係。選取個案方面，主要研究範圍在台灣及華南區域(115?127°E，18.5?29.5°N)。個案1）為利用TRMM-LIS衛星閃電資料選取1998年2月較多閃電的個案做初步的探討。因為Goodman et al.(2000)提到1997-1998年ENSO期間，中國大陸東南部區域通過台灣延伸到東海有較多冬季閃電分佈的情況。個案2）則是利用台灣的閃電資料初步分析2002年12月18-19日閃電數量及分佈與天氣系統的關係。以上兩者皆屬於冬季少有的閃電個案分析，初步探討兩者之生成機制與環流場特徵。本研究希望藉由分析TRMM-LIS閃電資料在全球及區域的分佈情況，以期更深一層應用於氣象及大氣化學領域中，相信是不錯且有趣的研究方向之一。
