    摘要: 摘要 2003年10月30日是有名的萬聖節磁暴 (Halloween storm) 的第二天。 福爾摩沙衛星一號 (ROCSAT-1) 在當日UT 01:00~05:00期間的三個連續衛星軌道,於南美洲附近觀測到很深的大尺度電離層電漿密度消散區 (Depletion region),本篇論文利用全球定位系統衛星GPS在全球接收站所提供的全電子含量 (TEC) 資料以研究電漿泡沿磁力線分布的特性。 首先我們將通過ROCSAT-1電漿泡觀測點的各緯度的磁通管找出,然後決定這些磁通管在450公里的對應地理位置以利用2005 LWS CDAW所提供的垂直TEC資料。 我們發現在這些含電漿泡磁通管對應的空間的TEC數值比起鄰邊有明顯下降的趨勢,我們也研究在安靜期(2003/11/20)且無電漿泡出現狀況下,這相同區間的TEC分布以為背景值。 兩天的資料比較,證實了赤道區電漿泡上升至某些高度後會沿著磁力線向下擴散向偏離磁赤道緯度分布,而被ROCSAT-1在不同緯度觀測到。 從看到整體對應區之TEC數值的減少似乎可推斷存在於數條磁通管所形成3D區域範圍的電漿泡還未進入衰退階段。 Abstract 30 October 2003 is the second day of the 2003 Halloween magnetic storm. ROCSAT-1 IPEI has observed very deep large-scale plasma depletion regions at topside ionosphere in the South America longitude sector on three consecutive orbits during the UT interval between 01:00 and 05:00. This paper uses the TEC data provided by the global GPS receiving stations to study the magnetic field aligned distribution characteristics of the plasma bubbles. We first identify the magnetic flux tubes associated with the various latitudes at which plasma bubbles were observed by ROCSAT-1 at 600 km altitude. We then perform magnetic field line mapping to find the corresponding vertical TEC (VTEC) values for various latitudes at 450 km from the VTEC data provided by the 2005 LWS CDAW. We found that the TEC values in the magnetic flux tubes which contain plasma bubbles are obviously lower than those of the vicinities. We also investigated the TEC distribution of the same sector under the quiet time (20 November 2003) and without plasma bubble conditions. By comparing the data between the two different days, we verify that the equatorial plasma bubbles rise to certain altitudes will then move along the field lines to lower altitudes at the latitudes away from the magnetic equator and then observed by ROCSAT-1. As we have seen lower TEC values in the 3D space that consists of magnetic flux tubes of containing plasma bubbles, we tend to conclude that these plasma bubbles were not yet in the decaying phase.
