虛擬化技術經過多年的發展，其成熟度已獲得企業的肯定與重視，透過虛擬化技術不必採購大量的實體主機，可提昇主機資源的利用率、增加主機部署的靈活性，因此有越來越多的企業使用者開始將虛擬化技術導入企業內部的運作，以期望發揮虛擬化技術的特性，達到整合資源、節省成本、簡化管理的優點。本研究對象為我國金融業某商業銀行，本研究採單一個案研究法，探討個案公司的虛擬化技術專案其導入此技術的原因，本研究並分析個案公司導入虛擬化技術前所面臨的問題與困難，亦追蹤導入虛擬化技術後所帶給個案公司的效益。本研究發現，透過虛擬化技術集中管理伺服器，可幫助個案公司有效降低企業營運成本，並提昇服務水準加強市場競爭力。而利用虛擬化技術所建置的災難備援中心，讓個案公司在不同程度災難發生時可以迅速且確實的將系統恢復到正常的狀態，縮短個案公司資訊服務中斷的延宕時間，減輕服務中斷對個案公司所帶來的傷害。After the development of virtualization technology over the years, its level of progress has grown and gained the focus and attention of enterprises, which could improve the utilization rate of host resources and increase the flexibility of host deployment without procuring a large number of physical hosts. Therefore, more and more enterprises have started to introduce and utilize virtualization technology in their internal operations, expecting to gain the advantages of resource integration, cost reduction and management simplification.A commercial bank in Taiwan is the subject of this study which explores the bank’s virtualization technology projects and reasons for introducing the technology. In addition, the problems and difficulties faced by the company in introducing virtualization technology shall be analyzed and discussed, as well as the benefits of the said technology to the company.This study has discovered that centrally managing the server with virtualization technology could help reduce operating cost, improve service and strengthen market competitiveness effectively. Moreover, the disaster recovery center built by virtualization technology could enable the company to quickly restore the system to its correct state when different levels of disaster occur. Thus, the down time of the information service is shortened and this minimizes damage to the company.
