Abstract:	本計畫擬設計以Boole代數為重點的數學通識課程架構,予以實驗教學,以增強文科學生的邏輯思考能力.選擇Boole代數為重點的理由在於: (1)Boole代數的應用包括符號邏輯□集合論□資訊科學等;(2)Boole代數的結構簡潔,可以２學分的課程使學生窺視現代數學的方法;(3)Boole代數的題材不出現於中學課本中,對學生有新鮮感. 設計課程時亦擬徵詢數學家與文學院師生的意見. ; 研究期間 8208 ~ 8308
