本研究是從民間信仰角度切入，以探論何仙姑信仰及其傳說的形成。 第一章為緒論。主要論述為何選擇何仙姑作為論文研究的動機與目的，並將前人的研究現況與成果做相關探討與彙整，並闡述適合本論文的研究方法。第二章為民間信仰與神靈。首先探討民間信仰的神靈創造，其次論述民間傳說與民間信仰的互動，最後分析中國民間信仰的女神崇拜特點。主要探討信仰、傳說及神靈三者間的關係。第三章為何仙姑信仰與傳說的考察。主要針對民間流傳的「增城何仙姑」、「永州何仙姑」還有其他相關何仙姑的傳說來進行考察並比較，並從其信仰形成的角度來觀察其間的異同。第四章為何仙姑與八仙。首先論述何仙姑與呂洞賓的關係，因為這是構成何仙姑加入八仙的原因，再探論何仙姑何時加入八仙群體，而後析論何仙姑加入八仙後，其代表的意義及對人民的影響第五章為結論，歸納本論文研究的結果與未來的研究展望，並說明何仙姑在民間信仰與傳說中所呈現的意涵。This study was about the formation of the Xiangu faith and its legends.The first chapter is the introduction,mainly discussing why Xiangu as a topic is chosen, what previous researches on the topic are, and what metheods are adopted on the research.The second chapter is related to folklore about gods. First, explore the creation of folklore about the gods.Then discuss the interaction of folklore and folk beliefs. Finally analyze the charactristics of the goddess worship in China to explore the relationship among beliefs, legends and gods.The third chapter is about Xiangu beliefs and its legends. The folklore "Zengcheng Xiangu", "Yongzhou Xiangu" and other related Xiangu legends are compared and contrasted.The fourth chapter is about Xiangu and the Eight Immortals. First, focuse on the relationship between Xiangu and Dongbin because their connection is the reason why Xiangu joined the Eight Immortals. Then, discuss the significance of Xiangu’s role in the Eight Immortals Group.The fifth chapter is the conclusions, explaining the implications of Xiangu folk beliefs and legends as well as suggesting further study on the topic.
