    摘要: This thesis presents a numerical progressive collapse of reinforced concrete (RC) building structures by applying the Vector Form Intrinsic Finite Element (VFIFE) method. The nonlinear behavior of structural collapse under various seismic excitations will be analyzed. The whole progressive collapse procedures of framed structures are displayed step by step following the time. Moreover, during the time collapse, the impact response and shear fractural of RC element are considered and simulated.
    The VFIFE method by using Newmark-β method defines the structure into numbers of mass point and applies Newton’s second law and internal force equilibrium to describe the motion of each mass points. To predict failure and separation of elements, VFIFE method considers larger rigid body motions and large deformations.
    Various types of frame buildings are analyzed. All possible locations of plastic hinge in the column and beam are simulated by bilinear springs. Different ground motions and scales from 100% to 600% are used for various input motion. From the numerical analysis result, we demonstrate the capability and accuracy of VFIFE method in nonlinear dynamic to handle extremely larger deformation, impact response and shear fracture of frame structures.
    本研究利用向量式有限元素(Vector Form Intrinsic Finite Element, VFIFE)模擬分析混凝土建築連續倒塌行為。研究內容將對各震波下結構倒塌之非線性行為進行分析,並將結構以構架型式利用動畫依時間步幅逐步顯示其倒塌行為,探討與分析各步幅混凝土元素之衝擊反應與剪力破壞行為。

    VFIFE係利用Newmark-β將結構數值模型以節點表示,並以牛頓第二定律計算每個節點之動力方程。為了預測其破壞及節點間之行為,VFIFE數值方法考慮較大之剛體位移與變形。

    研究將分析不同形式的數值模型,而數值模型中將可能產生塑鉸之梁柱接頭以雙線性彈簧模擬。數值分析所用的各震波放大倍率由100%至600%。從數值分析結果可以發現,VFIFE有效且精準的非線性動力分析,可處理構架大變形行為、衝擊反應以及剪力破壞。
