Abstract: 研究期間:10108~10207;Surface deformation has become a global problem. The traditional geodetic technique is increasingly proved to be incapable of monitoring the large-scale and serious surface deformation. The new Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR) and Differential InSAR (DInSAR) techniques provide an effective tool for the large coverage area and a high spatial and temporal resolution for the monitoring. Due to temporal and spatial decorrelations of radar signal have prevented this technique from more frequent utilization. An advanced InSAR processing techniques that track the signals of discreted point-wise targets, can effectively overcome temporal and spatial decorrelations called Persistent Scatterers InSAR (PSInSAR) technique. Therefore, we will applied to our research area in order to better understand the deformation patterns. The processing of DInSAR are complicated and difficult to be understood, many researchers are process using expensive software packages. To effectively promote the applications of DInSAR, This project will be use the public software as a priority and self-developed program for the auxiliary. Expect those who are interested or in need of people can be widely used. At the same time, to realize the possibility of detecting on the surface deformation in west Taiwan. We will use European ERS-1/2, Envisat and Japanese ALOS radar satellite images. Eventually these results were compared with the leveling data (or GPS data) to explore the accuracy of deformation detection using PSInSAR techniques in the Taiwan areas.
