研究期間:10108~10207;Modern astronomical observations demand a lot of computation resources to control, process, and store various kinds of data. On the other hand, the astronomical datasets in different research projects have accumulated huge amount of data. The data size is so huge that it is difficult for researchers to navigate without the help with some kind of data management systems. It also often exceeds the capacity limit of a single server both in the storage and analysis computation aspects. We therefore purpose to adapt the Hierarchical Triangular Mesh Indexing (HTM) that allows astronomical researchers to efficiently locate the associated information with space objects through 3D space coordinates; and our design also consider the issue to share the loads to multiple servers in a Peer-to-Peer ( P2P ) framework. Our designed system will be able to coordinate their works with distributed HTM index scheme, and therefore achieves an balanced framework with efficient data query management.
