Abstract: 研究期間:10208~10307;In classroom, teachers are not easy for students to immediately use the knowledge that nearly was taught. However, if teachers could provide a situation in the classroom where students can use what they just learned to solve real problems, students will be willing to learning, so as learning results. Blackboard, whiteboard, or interactive whiteboard with projectors is often used as instructional media. Nevertheless, it is not easy to create realistic situations for students to use knowledge to solve problems. As a result, they might learn inert knowledge. Currently, a new interactive device - such as a Microsoft Kinect motion controller with 3D virtual reality programming, to provide specific, immersive learning situations to allow students the way an agent into the situational problem, through observing, thinking, and using their knowledge to solve problems. Students, therefore, will be more engaged in learning activities. Effectiveness of learning will also be improved. This study intends to use a projector and Microsoft Kinect, a motion controller, with the Unity 3D programming tool, to design a variety of situational questions for students to use knowledge to solve problems in an immersive 3D virtual reality. Furthermore, to solve the natural interaction or provide situational dialogues for language learning, speech recognition tools will be adopted to enable students to dialogue with virtual human. To examine the efficacy and effectiveness, testing on the early design stages and experiment on practice will be conducted by video recording/analysis, and pretest and posttest questionnaires for teachers and students to understand the impact of the design. Research results could be referred by these kind instructional designers and other researchers.
