    Abstract: 染料敏化太陽能電池,具高光電轉換效率、低製造成本、透光性、可撓曲性等優點,是目前熱門的研究項目之一。參考我們實驗室先前所合成的染料CBTR,發現利用N-heterocyclic carbene配位基(簡稱NHC Ligand)取代傳統Bipyridine所合成出的染料具有不錯的光電轉換效率表現。因此在我的研究當中,是利用NHC-pyridine Ligand為基礎架構,加入噻吩來延伸染料的共軛系統並引入飽和長碳鏈增加元件穩定性,並接上不同的配位基進行探討,合成出染料CI123與CI124。同時我也合成Bipyridine-ligand-free 的染料DC106,利用兩片不同的NHC Ligand合成出Dicarbene的染料。;Dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) have been considered as a significant source of electricity for their high power conversion efficiency with relatively low cost, and their designing flexibility. Here we report novel N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC)-pyridine ruthenium complexes CI123 and CI124, compared to previously reported CBTR. We have carried out structural modifications on previously reported strong electron donating N-heterocyclic carbene ancillary ligand by incorporating 2-thiophencarboxylic unit on the pyridine ring, thus making it as new carbene based anchoring ligands. Simultaneously, we also synthesized bipyridine-ligand-free dye in which two unsymmetrical NHC-pyridine ligands along with two NCS ligands were utilized to complex with ruthenium metal to form new DC106 sensitizer.
