    Title: 監測有線電視訊號源研究;The Study for Monitoring CATV Signal

    Abstract: 一般在觀看電視節目時,電視畫面受到干擾,導致影像畫面失真,像是雪花、鬼影等雜訊失真,這些失真的產生是經由節目源,頭端設備等傳輸裝置傳送至用戶端,導致電視產生影音畫面不清楚,其中訊號的影響佔了一個相當重要的地位。
    目前在第四台業者或是有線電視機上盒製造商,是使用強度檢測器量測訊號強度,是否在規定規格的範圍內,判斷影像畫質是否良好,但這樣的量測方式是不可靠的,不能確保訊號中有突波,或是雜訊所導致影像失真的干擾。因此在這次論文實驗中,設計一個監測有線電視訊號源系統,運用頻譜分析儀硬體設備以及Labview程式,撰寫程式去監測有線電視訊號,並且利用監測系統分析各種雜訊的成因,提供研究報告以改善訊號品質,最後是利用訊號載波測試圖以及VM700 視訊分析儀,去驗證這個監測系統是否完善。
    論文實驗的貢獻,第一點是能夠提供自動化監測訊號,以及分析訊號雜訊能力。第二點是提供即時、便利性觀測訊號與雜訊關係的資料,以提供改善電視畫面影音的品質的方向。第三點是提供第四台業者鋪地訊號源,更可靠以及有效性的量測工具。
    在論文貢獻的未來展望,透過論文報告提供未來能夠期望達到自動修正訊號系統的能力。和提供未來在圖像影像識別上,就可以判斷出訊號的良莠,以及提供未來監測系統搭配光通訊設備,就可以分析模擬光訊號有線電視的能力。;In general, when audience watch TV programs, TV screen had been interfered, and it resulted in distortion of the image screen, like snowflakes, ghosting and other noise distortions, the distortion generation is transmitted by a transmission device of program sources, such as head-end equipment to the client, resulting in TV video quality is not clear, which affect the signal performance. So signal owns a very important impact in the CATV field.
    It is to use the power level in the signal strength measurements to detect tolerance on CATV agency or cable set-top box manufacturer, whether within the specified range of specifications to determine the image quality is good, but this measurement method is not reliable to ensure that there is interfered signal in the glitch image distortion or noise caused distortion. Therefore, we want to design a CATV system to monitor cable source in this experiment. The experiment use a spectrum analyzer hardware and Labview program that write a program to monitor cable TV signals, and the monitoring CATV systems can analyze the causes of noise and it provides research reports to improve signal quality, and finally, we use it to verify that the monitoring system is perfect by the carrier signal picture and VM700 video test pattern analyzer.
    Contribution for these experiments, the first, it is the ability to provide automated monitoring of signals and signal noise analysis capability. The second, it is to provide real-time information to analyze the relationship between the observed signal and noise, in order to provide direction to improve the quality of the TV screen video. The third, it is to provide CATV agency to setup signal source device, and it provides more reliable and effectiveness measurement tools.
    The contributions in the future, it provides automatic correction can be expected to reach capacity in the future through the signaling system of the CATV signal reports. And provide future image recognition on the image, you can determine good and bad signals, as well as monitoring systems with the ability to provide future optical communication devices, you can analyze optical signal cable.
