;Owing to the evolving transmission network providing faster transmission speed and lower user cost, the number of internet users in the population continues to increase. According to international market research firm Gartner, Inc. (March 2014), worldwide combined shipments of devices (PCs, Tablets, Ultramobiles and Mobile Phones) are projected to reach 2.479 billion units in 2014, of which 76% is mobile devices used for internet data access (including laptops, smart phones, tablets, etc.). The popularity and convenience of Internet has gradually impact the way data is generated. Based on 2014 EMC Digital Universe research report by IDC, there were approximately 4.4 Zettabytes of information in the digital universe in 2013 and this number is expected to reach 44 Zettabytes by 2020. In 2013, 2/3 of information (about 2.9ZByte) is generated by individuals, of which 85% (approximately 2.3ZByte) is from services provided for individuals or workers like emails, so how to provide mobile devices fast data upload and backup is a key problem confronting the high growth era of the information.
This research describes the profile of a multinational or interregional mechanism for dynamic data backup and upload for mobile devices, mainly aimed at solving upload inefficiency caused by high latency of long-distance transmission when conducting cross-border or cross-region file transfer, and proposing a dynamic method to select the most nearby storage nodes for quick upload and through a synchronization mechanism between nodes to create a global file storage architecture.
