    Title: 以光譜學方法研究含釔釤元素之配位化合物的淬熄效應;Spectroscopic Study of Quenching Mechanisms in the Coordination Compounds Containing Yttrium

    Abstract: 本論文使用中溫水熱法合成實驗所需之配位聚合物R2(C8H10O4),配位基為1, 4-cyclohexanedicarboxylate (C8H10O4, CHDC),而配位中心則是不同比例的稀土元素釔(Yttrium, Y)、鋱(Terbium, Tb)及釤(Samarium, Sm) (R = Y, Tb, Sm)。以單晶X光繞射(XRD)與粉末X光繞射(PXRD)確認其結構以及純度,以感應耦合電漿原子發射光譜(ICP-AES)確認配位中心稀土元素之確切比例。我們使用光致放光譜、激發光譜以及時間解析等光譜資訊去研究能量轉移的過程。分析YxSmyTb2-x-y(CHDC)3化合物中Sm3+放光衰退曲線後發現其中存在兩種淬熄機制。第一種淬熄機制是與含Y的物種有關,第二種淬熄機制則正比於化合物中Sm3+的濃度。這類化合物中所有的Sm3+放光衰退曲線皆能吻合一個三維能量轉移的動力學模型。並可求得相關的速率常數以及能量轉移參數。;Mid-temperature hydrothermal method was adopted to synthesize the coordination polymers, R2(C8H10O4)3, with 1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylate (C8H10O4, CHDC) ligands and different compositions of rare earth elements (R= Y, Tb, and Sm) for this study. Single crystal and powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) data of these compounds were acquired for confirming their structure and purity, while inductively-coupled plasma atomic emission spectra (ICP-AES) were also obtained to verify the exact compositions of rare earth elements. The spectroscopic data including photoluminescence (PL), excitation, and time-resolved spectra were acquired for investigating the energy transfer processes. The analysis of Sm3+ decay curves in YxSmyTb2-x-y(CHDC)3 reveals two quenching mechanisms. The first quenching process is related to some yttrium-containing species, and the second quenching process is proportional to the Sm3+ concentration. All of the Sm3+ decay curves in these compounds can be well fit by a kinetic model based on three dimensional energy transfer. The related rate constants and energy transfer parameters are determined and explained.
