對於一個安全的耐震結構而言,好的消能能力、足夠的勁度表現是無可或缺的,本研究將探討環狀消能器結合於斜撐構架中所提升之整體結構性能表現之效果。研究中藉一系列配置不同環狀消能器組合之構架反覆載重試驗,評估其強度、變形及能量消散能力,以界定其在耐震設計之應用性。研究結果顯示,結合環狀消能器之斜撐構架能在外力加載下提供穩定的消能能力;也能有效地提升斜撐構架的強度與勁度,此顯示環狀消能器斜撐構架在結構之耐震設計上,具有相當之可行性。在有線元素法分析中,其結果與試驗成果相符。;Adequate strength, stiffness and energy dissipation capabilities are essential for the safety of structures under seismic load. This study investigated the behavior of a new design, ring damper, and the performance of braced frames with the proposed damper. A series of cyclic loading tests on the ring dampers and the braced frames with the proposed dampers were carried out to evaluate their effectiveness in seismic design. It was found from the tests that stable hysteretic behavior of the ring damper was observed during the test. It was also validated that the strength, stiffness and energy dissipation of the framed structures equipped with the proposed dampers were significantly enhanced, which validated the effectiveness of the proposed design method. An analytical model for the strength prediction of the ring damper was proposed in this study. Results from finite element simulation were compared with those obtained from the proposed equation and the tests. Adequate accuracy was achieved from the comparisons thus justified the applicability of the proposed design and analytical method.
