    摘要: 半導體雷射目前為最廉價之雷射,有著輸出功高、大增益頻寬等優秀特性,然而其輸出之空間與光譜 特性極差,因此難以取代其他傳統雷射;進行半導體雷射輸出特性改善所需之架設複雜昂貴且效率不 佳;另外而由於半導體材料之限制,單一半導體雷射輸出功率亦無法輕易增加。本計劃提出以新穎全 像儲存材料PQ:DMNA/PMMA 作為光學元件,以極簡化之架構同時達成雷射輸出光譜窄化、光束整 形與同調光束合併。此計畫將分三年完成,第一年目標為發展穩定之材料製備流程與配方、材料各種 光學特性之量測,並開發長同調長度高功率半導體雷射光源;第二年為研究紀錄此材料之參數與優化 條件、研究雷射相位鎖定條件與架構,並建構大功率同調光源以利全像光學元件製作;第三年完成單 一半導體雷射輸出光譜窄化及光束整形、多半導體雷射同調光束合併、輸出光譜窄化、光束整形。 ;Diode lasers are the most inexpensive lasers so far. They have numerous excellent properties such as high output power and large gain bandwidth. However, their spatial and spectral optical output properties are notoriously bad. Therefore, diode lasers cannot take over traditional lasers. To improve the optical properties of a diode laser requires substantial amount of effort and expensive configuration yet with limited effects. The limitation of semiconductor material makes the output power of a single diode laser cannot be increase easily. This project proposes using a new holographic material, PQ:DMNA/PMMA to be a new type of optical element which can achieve laser output spectrum narrowing, beam shaping and coherent beam combining at the same time with extremely simple and inexpensive configurations. This three year project will focus on developing stable material and the corresponding recipe along with the optical property characterization of the material in the first year. The work in the second year will be on optimizing the recording configuration and optimizing the corresponding parameters as well as the laser phase lock conditions and configurations. The final year will be achieving the output spectrum narrowing and beam shaping simultaneously of a single diode laser and coherent beam combining for multiple diode lasers.
