本篇論文主要是針對IEEE 802.16-2004在碼框時序同步上做一個探討,主要的傳輸系統是使用正交分頻多工(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple,OFDM)架構。首先,本篇論文會先探討由IEEE上所選的兩篇時序同步的文獻套用在IEEE 802.16-2004系統上,並且分別對於浮點數(Floating Point)與定點數(Fixed point)做一個模擬與比較。 接下來,在本篇論文裡提出一個「偽多重路徑疊代演算法」(Pseudo-Multipath Iterative Algorithm,PMIA),主要是用疊代的方法來改善碼框時序同步的效能。本論文裡還分別將PMIA套用在先前所選的兩篇文獻上,並且探討在不同的參數下的改善效果。 The thesis takes a discussion on frame timing synchronization in IEEE 802.16-2004 standard and Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple(OFDM)scheme is chosen as the main transmission structure. Firstly , we covers two articles about timing synchronization technology in IEEE and apply it to the IEEE 802.16-2004 system simulating and comparing floating point and fixed point cases respectively. What follows is that we propose a pseudo-multipath iterative algorithm(PMIA) which mainly improves the performance of frame timing synchronization by iterative approach. Finally, we apply PMIA to the technique reported in the two denoted articles previously and try to interpret each performance improvement under different parameters.
