    Title: 以FAARFIELD與KENLAYER進行柔性鋪面滑行道結構設計之比較研究分析;Flexible Pavement Structure Design Analysis of Taxiway by Using FAARFIELD and KENLAYER

    Abstract: 隨著各國交通流量及航機載重持續成長,對於跑道及滑行道是沉重的負擔,其中機場滑行道為停機坪移動至跑道之銜接路段,以及等待起飛時之臨時停等區,飛機將長時間停滯於滑行道,所承受之壓力不亞於跑道。本研究收集某國際機場之交通量及現有鋪面結構斷面等相關資料,採用FAA於2016年所發表AC 150/5320-6F咨詢通告之FAAFRFIELD軟體,對於新鋪或整建之滑行道採用柔性鋪面結構斷面之厚度設計,主要評估不同材料對於滑行道鋪面厚度設計結果。另採用同為多層彈性理論之KENLAYER軟體對於FAARFIELD柔性鋪面設計結果進行驗證,最終透過航機之荷重分析,找出適合機場滑行道鋪面之結構斷面材料。由研究顯示,若使用及水泥處理底層(Cement Treated Base, CTB)與瀝青處理底層(Bitumen Treated Base, BTB)作為滑行道柔性鋪面之底層材料時,較級配粒料底層(Crushed Aggregate Base Course, CAB)、再生混凝土底層(Recycled Concrete Aggregate Base Course, RCAB)與瀝青刨除料(Recycled Asphalt Pavement, RAP)適合於滑行道柔性鋪面厚度之設計;且當面層材料使用高黏度石膠泥瀝青混凝土(Stone Matrix Asphalt, SMA)或改質密級配瀝青混凝土(Polymer-Modified Asphalt, PMA)時,皆可完成滑行道柔性鋪面厚度設計,結果皆可在達到20年設計年限之前防止疲勞裂縫破壞之發生。透過上述兩個軟體之分析結果表示,採用與初始結構斷面相同之五層結構,其底層材料使用水泥處理底層或瀝青處理底層時,為最適合之滑行道柔性鋪面結構斷面。;As the traffic and aircraft load continuously grow year by year, runway and taxiway suffered heavy burden. Taxiway links between parking ramp and runway. It is a temporary parking area to wait before taking-off. Aircraft will stay on the taxiway for a long duration which the pressure it causes to the taxiway is no less than the runway. This study collects data of traffic volume and the pavement structure of one international airport. FAAFRFIELD software AC 150/5320-6F advisory circular which issued by the FAA in 2016, it is used for newly paved or rebuilt taxiways. The thickness design of the structural layers using different materials for the taxiway. In addition, the KENLAYER software, which is also using multilayer elastic analysis. It is used to verify the FAARFIELD results. As a result, according to the loading analysis of the aircraft, we can find optimal structural material for airport taxiway pavement. This studies show that Cement Treated Base(CTB) and Bitumen Treated Base(BTB) are used as base material. The Crushed Aggregate Base Course (CAB), Recycled Concrete Aggregate Base Course (RCAB) and Recycled Asphalt Pavement (RAP) are suitable for the thickness design of the flexible taxiway; and the high-viscosity Stone Matrix Asphalt(SMA) or Polymer-Modified Asphalt(PMA) will be choosed as surface material. Finally, the occurrence of fatigue cracks can be prevented before the 20 years design life. The above two software results indicate that the by using same five-layer structure cross-section as the original structure, CTB or BTB is most suitable for taxiway flexible pavement structure cross-section base.
