    Title: 氧含量對氧化亞銅熱縮效應的影響

    Abstract: 本論文研究氧化亞銅在不同氧含量下的熱縮現象。氧化亞銅具有少見的立方晶體結構,其 OCu_4 組成的共角四面體與線性排列的O-Cu-O鏈,造就了氧化亞銅會有熱縮現象之主因。本論文介紹氧化亞銅熱縮現象原理與數據展示,並以理論解釋本實驗所得實驗數據。
    經Rietveld結構分析後,得氧含量分別為 Cu_2 O_0.78 與 Cu_2 O_0.98。將兩樣品各別進行變溫實驗,Cu_2 O_0.78 溫度範圍在 182 ~ 309 K、Cu_2 O_0.98 溫度範圍在 185 ~ 310 K 進行實驗。實驗發現,Cu_2 O_0.78 分別在 195 ~ 227 K與233 ~ 253 K 有晶格常數熱縮的現象(溫度升高體積縮小);Cu_2 O_0.98 則在199 ~ 235 K與247 ~ 261 K 有晶格常數熱縮現象。兩樣品各別皆有兩段晶格常數熱脹/熱縮區間與平穩區間,且溫度發生範圍接近。兩樣品熱縮現象解釋將於第四、五章作探討。
    ;The thermal contraction phenomena of different oxygen numbers of cuprous(Cu2Ox)are studied in this thesis. Copper(I) oxide exhibits a rarely seen cubic structure. The corner-sharing OCu4 tetrahedra and its O-Cu-O chain along the <111> direction mainly contribute to the thermal contraction phenomena. Here the experiment results and their theoretical explanation will be included in this thesis.
    Rietveld analysis identified two cuprous with different oxygen contents of Cu2O0.78 and Cu2O0.98. Temperature-depend XRD experiments revealed that the Cu2O0.78 displayed two thermal contraction regimes at around 195 to 227 K and 233 to 253 K. Cu2O0.98 shown similar behaviors at around 199 to 235 and 247 to 261 K.
    Both samples exhibit thermal contraction phenomena but contain entirely different electron densities. The details and reasons will illustrate in the discussions.
