Abstract:	場景文字(Scene texts)是指以一般相機所拍攝影像中所出現的文字，由於我們的生活周遭處處可見各式場景文字，包括街頭巷尾的招牌、路牌、看板、標語與廣告等，這些場景文字可靠地提供關於該畫面的重要訊息，若能有效地偵測與辨識場景文字，將可對於包括自動翻譯、場景理解、智慧城市發展、機器人技術、自動駕駛、協助視障者等各種潛在應用有很大的幫助。考量多國語言經常出現於單一畫面中，本研究旨在利用深度學習技術開發多語言場景文字偵測與辨識機制，希望透過多語言文字區域偵測與採用適當文字辨識模型，讓多語言場景文字分析更符合生活應用之所需。
