Abstract:	本計畫檢視安那其主義與保守主義（兩種顯然對立的政治視野）在50至70年代英美大眾科幻與奇幻小說中所扮演的角色。目的為探討：１科幻暨奇幻小說在試圖想像一種獨立於自由主義的替代方案時所將面臨的挑戰；２以《魔戒》與《一無所有》兩文本為例，思考科幻暨奇幻小說如何替西方（作為一政經知識建構物）製造了一種具有另類可能性的過去或未來，包含代表／呈現西方的文學文本在全球領域中的功能。
