Abstract:	本計畫在於研究雙曲線型偏微分方程組解的對稱性。在沒有source terms的方程組中，Riemann問題解具有自我對稱性(self-similarity)，但在有source terms情況下，我們很難要求Riemann解有此種性質，因此Lax和Glimm的方法無法運用。不過我們預測source terms在具有某種型態時，Riemann解可能仍保有某種對稱性，例如像point sources。此計畫的重點將要深入探討source terms和Riemann解對稱性的關係。期望用保有解對稱性的source terms來逼近一般的source terms。此計畫的研究成果將有助於瞭解及應用在compressible Euler equations，shallow water equations 或更廣泛到任何具有source terms的雙曲線型偏微分方程式。研究期間：9408 ~ 9507
